For the past ten years Dan Miller has been playing at coffee shops and bars all over the world. His experience as a wandering minstrel translates perfectly into the upbeat original songs he performs. Inspired by artists like Bob Dylan, Dave Matthews, and Keller Williams, Dan’s soulful tenor voice entrances you with a story, while his explosive guitar technique draws you toward the dance floor.
Dan’s newest musical endeavor, D4P, incorporates looping technology to allow one artist to play several instruments at once. Dan uses this ability to create wild symphonies of guitar, bass, bongos, slide whistle, and his endless assortment of random noise. For the past two years D4P shows have been leaving audiences awestruck and begging for more. Every show is a unique combination of original songs, old favorites, and fearless improvisation that ensures no two shows will ever the same.
In 2006, Dan finally took enough time off the road to record his first EP, Passion Fruit and Bamboo. Bringing in the talents of his closest friends on a variety of instruments including banjo, oboe and english horn, Dan has created an inspiring collection of thought provoking and humorous songs. Now fans can finally take home the truly unique and uplifting sounds of D4P.
